Three new awards for Spaceboy: best student film at the SoCal Independent Film Festival and the HDFest World Tour, as well as Best Short at the Friars of Beverly Hills Film Review. Several Los Angeles festival screenings are coming up later this month -- check the screenings page for details.

Comic-Con 2006 was rip-roaring fun, with Spaceboy making its well-attended debut there on Saturday, followed by Q&A with the crowd and a cast-and-crew panel discussion.

Spaceboy's premiere at the prestigious annual BIG SHORTS was a smashing success. Featuring some of the best work from USC this year and sponsored by Bacardi Rum, Sony and Coca-Cola, the screening drew an enthusiastic and industry-heavy crowd of nearly 1,000.
